the float of the BFS valve would fit into the u-shaped channel and operate
normally. However, in flat plate batteries with channeled moss shields, the
moss shield would close or shift causing the float of the valve to be
inoperable. BFS developed a rigid and sturdy float housing that allows maximum
electrolyte circulation. The depth level of the encapsulated float is the
equivalent of the 34 mm float.
