Inside the flat plate GNB battery is a u-shaped moss shield. Under normal conditions the float of the BFS plug would fit
into the u-shaped channel and operate normally. However, in the GNB flat plate batteries, the moss shield would close
or shift causing the float of the BFS plug to be inoperable. BFS developed a rigid and sturdy float housing that
allows maximum electrolyte circulation. The depth level of the GNB encapsulated float is the equivalent of the 34 mm float.
